Gold Mountain Bitcoin Geological Summary
Dos Cabezas Gold Project
The Dos Cabezas Gold Project is a high-grade, structurally controlled quartz-sulfide gold system located in the northern Dos Cabezas Mountains of southeastern Arizona. Surface sampling, geological mapping, and diamond drilling confirm consistent vein continuity across a multi-mile corridor, with strong vertical and lateral expansion potential. The system exhibits characteristics of a robust epithermal to mesothermal gold deposit.
Project Metrics
Strike Length: ~2.1 miles
Vertical Extent: ~1,000 ft (confirmed)
Average Vein Width: ~2 ft
Vein Dip: 32°–44° west
Average Vein Grade: ~13.2 g/t Au
Average Wall Rock Grade: ~4.5 g/t Au
Geological Setting
Host Rock: Proterozoic Pinal Schist
System Type: Structurally controlled hydrothermal
Alteration includes silicification, sericitization, clay alteration selvages, and extensive pyritization. Alteration halos extend up to ~18 ft into wall rock, indicating significant fluid flow and a strong mineralizing system.
Mineralization
Vein assemblage consists of quartz-sulfide with pyrite, galena, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite. Gold occurs as native gold and sulfide-hosted gold, primarily within pyrite. Pyrite separates have returned grades up to 278 g/t Au.
The system displays a classic nugget effect common in high-grade quartz vein systems. Tight drill spacing and bulk sampling are recommended for resource estimation.
Surface Sampling
Total samples collected: 850+
Multiple samples exceeded 30 g/t Au, with several exceeding 100 g/t Au. Results demonstrate consistent high-grade mineralization along strike, with economically meaningful gold values extending into wall rock.
Mineralized Corridor
Continuous alignment confirmed across five key zones:
Trash Pit, Lower Adit, Upper Adit, Crest, Moonlight
Diamond Drilling Program (2015)
Total Holes: 7
Total Footage: 1,750 ft
All 7 holes intersected the target vein at depths ranging from 61 to 232 ft.
Significant intercept in Hole HS-15-08: 3.5 ft at 13.46 g/t Au, with individual samples up to 40 g/t Au.
Depth and Expansion Potential
Approximately 800 ft of depth potential exists below the Upper Adit, and approximately 1,300 ft below the Crest. The system remains open at depth and along strike in both directions.
Summary
The Dos Cabezas Gold Project demonstrates geological continuity, verified high-grade mineralization, and strong exploration upside. The combination of robust surface data, drilling confirmation, and structural integrity positions this project as a strong candidate for systematic resource definition.
